CRISS ANGEL MINDFREAK: Halloween Edition

to experience Halloween like never before! The Mindfreak,
Criss Angel descends upon Hollywood’s famous Magic
Castle and his hometown New York in a tour de force
of mysticism, mentalism and death defying stunts. The
one-hour CRISS ANGEL MINDFREAK: Halloween Edition will
make its World Premiere Monday, October 31 @ 10PM/9C,
with an encore airing on Tuesday, November 1, at 11PM/10C.
The Special Presentation carries a rating of TV-PGL.

Poof! Criss Angel has turned into the
magician of the moment. With Marilyn Manson looks and
Harry Houdini abilities, Angel has caught buzz with
his new A&E show, Mindfreak (Wednesday, 10 ET/PT).
In its first two weeks Mindfreak has drawn
1.7 million viewers, easily improving on the cable network's
average prime-time audience of 1.1 million. More important,
it's drawing young viewers: The median age is 34, well

Criss Angel - The Daredevil
Mixing equal parts Harry Houdini and Fear
Factor, magician Criss Angel attempts his greatest stunt:
superstardom.
On a chilly evening in April daredevil
magician Criss Angel frantically struggles to escape
from a covered barrel of water that dangles in midair
80 feet over a Las Vegas parking lot. He has two minutes
to wriggle out of handcuffs, grab a safety bar and disengage
the barrel body before the entire thing crashes to the
ground. Suddenly he screams:"Stop!" The barrel
is lowered to the ground, and a shaken Angel emerges.
His body had gotten too twisted to let him escape. Moments
later he ascends again, this time sliding his shackles
off and pulling the release. The barrel plunges to the
asphalt and shatters, while Angel hangs on overhead,
bare chested and triumphant. "We weren't sure he
was gonna make it," one cameraman murmurs. »

Star World is all set to astound its viewer
in the form of two special Star World events: Criss
Angel Mindfreak on 18 June at 9.00 p.m. and Criss Angel
